Our Reseller relationship agreement covers everything you need to know about your relationship with Zeus Technology.
Payment terms
If payment is not received within 14 days of the date of any account issued by Zeus Technology Pty Ltd ("Zeus") reserves the right to charge interest from the day the account at the rate of 15% per annum. Payment received by the Company will be applied firstly in reduction of the interest payable and accruing from month to month; and secondly in reduction of all other monies owing to the Company until such time as all monies owing to the Company have been paid in full.
Credit card sales incur a handling fee of 2% for VISA and MASTERCARD, and 4% for American Express.
Any dishonoured cheques will be charged a $30 fee per cheque and the balance owing under any account shall become immediately due and payable and attract interest at 15%per annum... Further, any subsequent orders received from the applicant will be accepted only it is paid by cash, bank cheque or direct debit.
Zeus will accept personal or company cheques only up to a maximum of $4000.00. Any amount higher than $4000.00 will require to be paid by cash, bank cheque or direct debit.
Credit limits
The Applicant(s) shall not incur credit beyond the agreed limit without authorisation in writing signed and by the managing director of Zeus. In the event that the credit limit is exceeded then the entire account will become immediately due and payable and attract interest at 15% per annum.
Collection costs
The applicant agrees to pay all costs incurred by Zeus in relation to the recovery of monies owed to it by reason of the Applicant(s) failure to pay within 14 days or exceeding the credit limit without authorisation in writing signed and by the managing director of Zeus.
Title of goods
Title to goods supplied does not pass until payment in full has been received, and cleared, by Zeus. Until such time Zeus shall also be entitled to enter upon the Applicant's premises or elsewhere and repossess and remove any goods for which full payment has not been received.
Delivery
Where the applicant requires that we arrange delivery, we do so on their behalf, although freight might be charged on the invoice, it is clearly done as an agent for the applicant. Zeus shall accept no responsibility for loss or damage that may be caused during transportation. It is the Applicant's responsibility to arrange suitable insurance to cover the goods in transport.
Replacement/Repair Only Warranty
Zeus' warranty is limited to repair or replacement only and Zeus will not accept any responsibility for any consequential loss whatsoever.
Warranty on Zeus Technology Pty Ltd supplied systems is 3 years and 12 months for components, starting from Zeus' date of invoice. An RA number must be obtained prior to returning. It is the responsibility of the applicant to return the product to our warehouse for testing.
A copy of the invoice on which the product was bought need to be supplied with the defective goods. A clear description of fault and symptoms are required in order to efficiently expedite the repair, otherwise delays may be incurred. Where components are deemed to be faulty they will either be repaired or replaced at Zeus Technology Pty Ltd's discretion. In case the product is either out of warranty, abused or misused our standard hourly rate of $70 will be applicable with minimum half hour charged.
All products sold by Zeus Technology Pty Ltd carry a Zeus bar code serial number. Removing this barcode serial number will void your warranty Any RA not collected after 3 months will become the property of Zeus Technology Pty Ltd and will be sold without prior reference to you
Return for Credit or Exchange
All goods are sold on a non-refundable basis but a credit note ( less a 15% restocking fee) or an exchange may be given if the credit or exchange is sought within 7 days of invoice date and the returned good or goods are in its original condition and are resalable. Any claims received after this date will not be considered
Claims
Claims regarding invoice prices, or other discrepancies, must be made within 7 days from invoice date. Any claims received after this date will not be considered.
Technical support
Zeus Technology Pty Ltd will provide technical support as part of our service. However, any customers who have been referred to us by our invoice applicants will be referred back to the invoice applicant or charged a consultancy fee. A $45.00 fee is applicable to service jobs where the applicant decides to change his mind while the job is already in progress.
Any product returned to us as faulty that is tested as "No fault found" will be returned with a service fee invoice of $25.00!
Law
The Applicant(s) and Zeus agree that the laws of Western Australia shall apply to this Agreement and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant Court in the said State.
Privacy Act
The Applicant agrees to the Zeus obtaining from its Bank, credit reporting agencies or others a credit report containing personal credit information about the applicant in relation to commercial credit provided by the Company. The applicant agrees that the Company may give to and seek from any trade references or credit providers named in this credit application and any credit providers that may be named in this credit report issued by a credit reporting agency, information about the applicant's arrangements. The applicant understands that this information can include any information about its credit worthiness, credit outstanding credit history or credit capacity that credit providers are allowed to give or received from each other under the Privacy Act.
